I have another new poem to share, “The Butterfly” published on Ephemeral Elegies. For those that don’t know – Ephemeral Elegies is a passion project of mine. It’s a poetry-centric literary journal that began in 2020. After five years, I took a year break to sort of re-center and rediscover my passion for poetry. But now it’s back and we’re publishing two poems weekly. Submissions are open and if you’re a poet, feel free to check out the guidelines HERE! We publish new and emerging poets from all over the world, and it’s been such an honor and privilege to encounter so many amazing artists and offer a small platform in the vibrant poetry community.

April Changes!
In honor of April being National Poetry Month, I have an exciting announcement regarding the poetry-themed literary journal I run! Starting in April, Ephemeral Elegies will be expanding to two poems weekly! Stay tuned for poems coming every Monday and Thursday, and feel free to head over to the site and subscribe for free to get poetry delivered directly to you twice a week.

Whether you’re a new, emerging, or established poet, we’d love to give you a chance at getting your work out into the world. Visit the Ephemeral Elegies Submission Page for more details about how you can be featured! This has been a huge labor of love over the years. I started this project at the start of 2020 with no idea about the upcoming pandemic and need for virtual catharsis. Through the years, we’ve grown and evolved, and it’s been so incredibly rewarding to connect with poets from all over the world.

Welcome to 2024!
It feels weird to type “2024” – the last year was a whirlwind of change and it’s hard to believe that 2023 is already over. I had a new book published, I got married, and I moved to a new state. I’m hoping that 2024 will be a year of acclimation and quiet growth instead of being another year of big things.

So, what do I have planned for the new year?
- Continuing to edit poetry in my role at Ephemeral Elegies
- Finish writing my third book! (This one is a cozy mystery!)
- Create more art and explore new art forms
What are your goals for the new year? Feel free to share in the comment section!
Thanks for reading,
Tiffany

Here’s the teaser summary: After hacker Vivienne Steele is caught by the FBI, she is given an ultimatum – go undercover to infiltrate a corrupt corporation or spend 15 years in jail. With nothing to lose, Vivienne accepts and is thrown into a world of lies and deception where the line between good and evil is constantly blurred. When a series of mysterious text messages threaten to expose her, she sets out to discover the truth for herself and finds that the life she ran away from years ago may not be as far away as she’d hoped.

Where Have I Been?
It’s been so long since I posted to my website, and I thought it was about time to check in. So what have I been doing in my absence? I’ve been living!
Relationships take up a lot of time, and the last few months have been filled with so much growth and happiness. Right before New Year’s Eve, my boyfriend requested an upgrade to fiance and I said yes!
I’m looking forward to all the new adventures and growth opportunities in 2023, including getting married and moving to a new state. As a person with a lot of anxiety, I expected so many changes to be terrifying, but they haven’t been because I have the most supportive partner in the world and I get to borrow so much of his strength whenever I need it.
On a more professional note, Crooked is still slated to come out in 2023! The editing process has been pushed back a bit so I don’t have an exact date to share, but I’m so excited to have found a home at World Castle Publishing. They’ve done a fantastic job with the cover art, and I am looking forward to our continued partnership beyond this first book.
This is also our third year with Ephemeral Elegies, a confessional poetry journey. It’s been an honor to build relationships and connect with so many new and emerging poets. We’ve been able to expand to three poems weekly, and it’s been a fun journey with this project.
And last but certainly not least, there are some new projects in the works! There may be a poetry collection surprise by the end of 2023, and stay tuned for information on two new book series (both mysteries – one cozy and one more traditional).
Thanks for reading! I can tell 2023 is going to be a great year, and I’d love to know what some of your goals are for the year – feel free to share in the comment section!

New Book Update!
I have really exciting news that I’m finally able to share! I have received a publishing contract for my second book: Crooked! This is the start of a new series and is not a sequel to Suburban Secrets. World Castle Publishing has been great to work with so far, and I’m excited to see where this project goes! Here is the official cover art:
We are still in the editing stages, so we don’t have a release date yet, but I’m hoping for sometime in 2023. I think I’ll leave you with a little teaser – the official description of my new thriller:
After hacker Vivienne Steele is caught by the FBI, she is given an ultimatum – go undercover to infiltrate a corrupt corporation or spend 15 years in jail.
Thanks so much for reading, and stay tuned for more developments on this project!

Summertime Book Reveal!
I haven’t been around much this summer – there’s something about this season that really encourages me to stay busy and I rarely stop to reflect or blog. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing. In fact, I’m pleased to announce that my second book should be out by the end of the year! It’s a work of romantic suspense, which is a big departure for me, but I’m really proud of it and can’t wait to share! In the meantime, enjoy my latest painting…
Thanks for reading!
